Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key member of the Sotera Health finance team and is a key developmental role with the focus of developing future leadership. Reporting to the Vice President of Investor Relations, this position will be primarily focused on investor relations and will partner with the finance and accounting teams to analyze company results, identify key drivers of financial performance, and develop tools for effectively communicating results to both internal management and the external investment community. This individual will also be heavily involved in comparing peers' financial results as well as sell-side consensus numbers to the company's actual performance.ResponsibilitiesLeading andor supporting the quarterly earnings process including preparing press releases, investor presentations, earnings call scripts, developing Q&A materials, general analytics and other supporting materials for upper management.Monitoring sell-side financial models and estimates for the company and its peers.Coordinating logistics and developing materials for and participating in investor meetings, conferences, and non-deal roadshows.Supporting day-to-day interactions with the investment community, which can include ad-hoc analysis and research.Leading andor assisting with shareholder ownership analysis, investor targeting efforts and ESG investor benchmarking activity.Preparing periodic reporting and analysis including to upper management and the Board of Directors.Monitoring company-specific and industry-specific research from industry research analysts.Monitoring peer group financial, strategic and operational matters as well as general industry issuestrends.Coordinating due diligence requests for capital market transactions.Maintaining content on the Investor Relations website.Maintaining rating agency financial models.Maintaining debt covenant calculations.Working across a broad group internally including various Finance and Strategy groups as well as Legal, Corporate, and Operations.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting preferredExperience:3+ years of corporate finance andor accounting experience; previous sell-side experience is a plus, but not required.Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, including experience creating clear and concise slide presentations.Travel Requirements:10-20%Characteristics:Corporate professional who has an entrepreneurial style, looks to the future with optimism to envision what could be possible, and partners with others to achieve best-in-class results.Analytical - inquisitive, challenges status quo, thinks outside the boxCultural alignment - unwavering ethical standards; drives excellence and innately collaborativeOperational "heft" - comfort and experience at corporations with multiple business units; ability to manage multiple projects at the same timeStrategic and critical thinking - exhibits strong levels of insight and intellectual curiosityStrong foundation in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, and interpretation of financial statements of a publicly listed company.Superior financial and investment analysis capabilities, including an understanding of financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors.Demonstrate a commitment to communicating
