Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths.As a Security Officer - Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.What's in it for you:All shifts available: Part Time and Full TimeCompetitive hourly wage of $27 hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance optionsCareer growth opportunities at GardaWorldUniform provided at no costResponsibilities of Tactical Security GuardRespond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.Monitor access points and perform security checks on vehicles and personnel.Maintain a clean motor vehicle record, as you may be required to operate a company vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities.Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel as necessary to address incidents or security concerns.Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.Provide detailed written reports, documenting all incidents and observations accurately and in a timely manner.Qualifications of Tactical Security GuardBe authorized to work in the U.S.Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GEDYou have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process).Valid armed security license.You have experience in either the military or law enforcementBe able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening processYou are 21 years old or olderProven experience in security or law enforcement rolesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalClean motor vehicle record and ability to operate a security vehicle.Ability to respond to high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness.First aid certification is an assetAbility to stand and walk for the entire shiftIn the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work.
