PFG has an experienced team of over 60 people across six offices in the U.S. and Europe who have collectively worked on over 300 fundraises since 2010 across a wide array of private equity fundraising.PFG has recently expanded offerings to provide a 'full weather' advisory service to financial sponsor clients across Primary, Secondary, DirectCo-invest, and GP Stakes Advisory mandates for clients in the U.S. and Europe.Job Description The Vice President, Project Management will play a critical role in driving primary fundraises, investor engagement, and operational efficiency within the Private Funds Group. This individual will oversee the end-to-end project management of fundraises, coordinate with investment, finance, and investor relations teams, and ensure seamless execution of initiatives that support capital formation and fund marketing efforts.This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, capable of managing complex projects and providing key insights to senior management.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Vice President will lead cross-functional initiatives and oversee critical aspects of private fund management, including:Fundraising & Investor Relations SupportLead project management efforts for fundraises, ensuring alignment across investment, legal, finance, and client relations teams.Oversee the development of investor materials, including private placement memoranda (PPMs), due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and investor presentations.Monitor and track fundraising pipelines, ensuring accurate reporting to fund managers and senior leadership.Provide strategic insights on investor engagement, coordinating roadshows, meetings, and follow-ups.Project & Process ManagementDrive operational excellence by optimizing internal workflows and fundraising processes.Manage fundraising timelines, ensuring seamless execution of fund launches and investor communications.Develop standardized processes for fund marketing, diligence responses, and investor reporting.Work closely with internal teams (investment, finance, legal) to ensure cross-functional coordination.Product & Market ExpertiseServe as a key resource for internal teams and external investors on fund structures, investment strategies, and industry trends.Analyze fund performance and market data to provide insights on positioning and investor outreach.Stay ahead of industry trends by monitoring competitive landscapes, regulatory developments, and LP preferences.Leadership & Team DevelopmentMentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.Act as a bridge between senior leadership and junior team members, ensuring strategic initiatives are executed efficiently.Requirements & Qualifications6+ years of experience in project management, investor relations, fundraising, or product management within private equity, investment banking, or asset management.Deep understanding of private funds, fundraising processes, and investor expectations.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive complex projects.Highly analytical and commercially aware, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable interacting with senior executives and institutional investors.Expertise in financial modeling, fund structures, and private markets trends.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).Operates with the highest level of integrity, intellectual curiosity, and exudes a results-driven pensation and BenefitsHoulihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation.
