Job DescriptionSeeking a Mechanical Assembler who will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems according to specifications and engineering drawings. The job involves working with tools, machines, and materials to ensure that products are built correctly and meet quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems following engineering specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings.Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly spect and test completed assemblies to ensure proper function, alignment, and safety standards.Read and interpret technical documents such as assembly drawings, manuals, and work instructions.Ensure all parts and assemblies are in proper working condition before moving to the next stage of production.Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards.Follow company safety guidelines and wear necessary protective equipment at all times.Document assembly processes and maintain records for quality assurance.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred.Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is desirable.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring instruments.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Long term Contract $25-30hr, based on experience As a contract employee of Sterling, you are eligible to receive a Full Employee Benefits Package that includes paid time off, paid holidays, 3 medical plans to choose from, dental & vision plans, 401(k), and an Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) plan.Meet Your RecruiterMax FrancisTechnical RecruiterMax Francis is a seasoned Engineering Recruiter specializing in the Automation Division at Sterling.
