GENERAL MANAGERThe role of the General Manager (GM) is to run a profitable business. This role focuses on delivering the highest guest satisfaction while being fully accountable for all sales, Cost of Goods (COGS), people and standards within the location. The GM is the leader of the restaurant and a role model of Impact Kitchen's brand, values and staff PENSATIONRestaurant General Managers earn between $85,000 - $90,000 per year, benefit from a meal stipend, a substantial discount on Impact Kitchen products, have opportunity to enroll in health benefits, earn paid vacation and sick time, and have flexible scheduling to accommodate a healthy balanced lifestyle. TEAM & DEPARTMENTGeneral Managers drive Impact Kitchen's success every day by leading restaurant operations, ensuring profitability, and embodying our brand and values. They oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including asset management, recruitment, training, scheduling, and operational efficiency. GMs also coach and develop Managers and Team Members while collaborating with colleagues across multiple levels of the organization.Their responsibilities are further supported by Impact Kitchen's industry-leading integrated restaurant tech stack, along with a dedicated Guest Experience Manager (GEM) and Culinary Experience Manager (CEM) to enhance both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.General Managers report to the Regional Operations Manager.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESLeverage all available resources to deliver a world-class experience for guests, staff, and the Impact Community. Drive training and career development through Impact Academy (LMS) while overseeing staff performance, recognition, and growth.Ensure seamless restaurant operations by optimizing systems, enhancing communication, and driving efficiency in both dining room service and food & beverage production.Utilize Impact's industry-leading tech stack to manage the fiscal year budget, boost sales, and prime cost control tools while demonstrating full ownership of P&Ls.Analyze Finance, Marketing, People & Culture, and Culinary reports to identify business growth opportunities.Lead staff relations by upholding employment standards, addressing concerns, leading mentorship and coaching.Serve as the primary contact for health inspections, WSIB procedures, audits, and compliance.Lead weekly Restaurant Management meetings, setting clear objectives, tracking action plans, and keeping the team aligned on upcoming initiatives.Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager to execute financial goals, team development strategies, and guest satisfaction initiatives.Prepare for and participate in the quarterly Restaurant Performance Presentation with Impact Kitchen's Directors and President.SKILLSMinimum 3 years of senior management experience preferably in restaurant or retail industries.
