Manager - Pension Actuary

The Position: We are looking for a Pension Actuarial Manager with a strong interest in contributing to a mission-driven environment, while working on meaningful projects with internal and external stakeholders. This exciting role will provide you with an opportunity to support a dedicated client project team providing pension projects, while sharpening your business and actuarial acumen. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to interact with clients and participate in the many components of supporting a new this role as a manager, you will serve as the day-to-day contact on your work products, working closely with company leadership to set the vision and direction on behalf of your clients. You will train junior resources and manage their growth and performance. Additionally, you will continue to hone your ability to lead both small and large actuarial projects and demonstrate your desire to go above and beyond to serve clients, providing valuable insights that position businesses for long-term success.This is a paid, salaried position.Responsibilities: Review and analyze work products, including plan data, funding and accounting valuationsProvide input to the development of solutionsInput data into and update actuarial models utilizing Excel, or other actuarial programsCreate and update actuarial programs and spreadsheetsAssist with report preparation and reviewEnsure analysis and deliverables are client readyDemonstrate exemplary level of personal and professional integrity, and ability to support and promote Athena's mission and valuesLocation: This position is remote.
