Our aim isn't just about improving buildings; it's about creating perfect places that improve people's lives.The Area Finance & Business Administration Manager works to meet business goals while partnering with area, sales and operations managers, projectservice teams, Finance and Business Administration (FBA) colleagues, and auditors.As a Area Finance & Business Administration Manager, you will:Acts as commercial partner to the Area Managers and assumes responsibility for Area financial performance. Along with Area management, is responsible for the Area's financial performance including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.Leads, manages, and oversees finance, accounting, and business administration activities within the Area for all SI Buildings business segments and leads evaluation of current and proposed financial plansforecasts and makes recommendations to positively impact the Area's growth and profitability.Responsible for assigned Areas' day-to-day business transactions and strategic initiatives in strong collaboration with Area GMs and drives, implements and monitors in cooperation with ZoneArea Management - productivity initiatives to further improve profitability and competitiveness.Partners with Commercial Project Managers, Sales, and Operations Managers on large more impactful projects in the Areas to ensure adequate project controlling.Ensure compliance with external and internal accounting and reporting guidelines and operational Area performance (operational balance, slip, absorption, & utilization).Area cost center controlling and Mentorlead Commercial Project Managers and other team members as applicable, as well as participate in special projects related to either the local business or in support of field or home office initiatives.Additional QualificationsResponsibilitiesYou will make an impact with these qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 6+ years of broad Accounting Finance experienceDemonstrated understanding of GAAPIFRS and internal controlsDemonstrated a history of taking on ever increasing levels of responsibility and able to demonstrate ability to take initiative and act independentlyCompetencies: Results driven; customer focused; ability to interact effectively within cross functional teams; collaborative styleSkills: Strong financial, leadership, interpersonal, analytical; proficiency with MS Suite of applicationsDemonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications: MBA Experience in construction industryKnowledge of construction accounting with bond and lien law experience You'll benefit from: Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The pay range for this position is $139.580 - $239,280 and the annual incentive tied to the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
