We currently operate two taprooms in Atlanta, GA, a brewpub in Birmingham, AL, a full-service taproom in Nashville, TN, a taproom in Charlotte, NC, and a taproom in Knoxville, TN. Responsibilities:BarbackEnsure guests have an excellent experience with our products and service expectations from entering to leavingResponsible for opening andor closing checklists for the bar, dining, common areas, and patioCleaning and stocking glassware and bar equipmentKeep taproom clean and clear of trashExpo for pizza station when neededWash glasseware and dishes during peek business hoursKeep keg cooler clean, neat and organized with proper rotation.Safely prep snack items to specificationMonitor taproom for potential problems and inform manager on dutyJuice and garnish prepHelp complete taproom side work and deep cleaning tasksGeneral cleaningStock bar with glassware, supplies, alcohol and fresh beerResponsible for safe practices at all times and assisting with the cleaning of the taproom including seating areas, restrooms, bar areas, patios, parking lot etc.ExpoServe as an intermediate between customers and the kitchen staffEnsure that orders get to their tableguest as quickly and accurately as possibleInspect dishes to confirm that they comply with restaurant food quality standardsEnsure a fast and smooth flow of work between the bartenders and the kitchenEnsure that every service is delivered to the utmost satisfaction of the customers, which begins with ensuring that the restaurant atmosphere is clean and friendlySetting tables, clear plates, arrange essential cutlery Remain nimble in high-stress environments and maintain a fast pace on a daily basisCompensation:$10.00hourly + tip shareMonday Night Brewing will guarantee a minimum $15hourly for all tipped employees when tips do not reach $15hourly over the course of a pay period.Qualifications:Must be 18+Minimum of 2 years' kitchen experience in fast-paced environmentDynamic, action-oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisionsAbility to lead peopleExcellent problem-solving abilities Must have strong interpersonal skills with a hospitality mindsetAbility to communicate effectively with employees and guestsAbility to comprehend and react to financial performance in operations, basic math skillsKnowledge of physical inventory methods and food ordering processesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalFlexible working schedule, primarily weekends and eveningsPhysical Requirements:Ability to climb, lift, reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift at least 40 poundsMust be able to stand for up to 8 hours in hot, wet, humid and loud environments.
