Pressure Vessels, Tanks, Boilers, Containers, Piping and Control Systems.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role as a Field Applications Engineer at ABEC. The Field Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, sales assistance, and expertise in analog and electronics. Day-to-day tasks include assisting customers with field applications, supporting sales team efforts, and ensuring effective utilization of ABEC's products.Will work with •Electrical power systems including 400480 vac supply and motor control circuits•Experience with electrical sizing requirements and various load calculations including short circuit, heat load, total power consumption. •Must have a good understanding of PLC hardware application and usage. •Knowledge and understanding of process instrumentation. •Knowledgeable with NEC (NFPA 70) and UL508 standards.•Familiar with European standards such as ATEX and IEC is preferred.QualificationsField Applications and Technical Support skills Sales expertise Knowledge in Analog and Electronics Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and remotely Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
