This high-impact role will provide strategic and analytical leadership, operational oversight and execution to drive transformation across the company's end-to-end working capital process. The role is uniquely positioned, working closely with VP of Corporate Development and Strategy and other cross functional Leaders, to drive the optimization of critical working capital areas such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP) and inventory management, while championing lean principles for continuous process improvement globally. A successful candidate will play a pivotal role in centralizing efforts to accelerate cash flow conversion and drive working capital efficiency.This role is for a strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and deliver operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings expertise in AR management with strong data analytical skills, and an obsession for details and results. Experience understanding of AP and Inventory is a plus. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for cross-functional collaboration across departments and regions, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on the company's mission to streamline processes and optimize financial performance. If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and are ready to lead transformative initiatives, this position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact at Diebold Nixdorf.ResponsibilitiesPrimary area of responsibility for this role is in Accounts Receivable (AR); work in other working capital areas (such as Accounts Payable (AP) and inventory) for cash improvement may be required. Summary of key responsibilities:Apply lean principles methodologies to streamline Commercial-to-Cash (C2C) process and develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce DSO, accelerate collections, and improve operating cash flow and KPIsDevelop content required to enable cross-functional governance discussions with Sales, Finance, Global Shared Services and other functionsDrive war-room discussions to resolve past-due invoices and customer disputes. This includes working closely with Sales to enable collections for at-risk accounts and resolve other customer-specific challengesConduct analysis on customer master data to assess contract terms and identify cash improvement opportunitiesReview contract-to-bill bill-to-collect processes and identify improvement opportunities (e.g., frequent invoicing errors, change order invoicing, etc.)Identify and execute account clean-up activities with Global Business Services (e.g., reconciliation of cash application to invoices, etc.)Generate reports to track key metrics and drive periodic reporting to DN leadership on KPIs trendsDrive data analysis and cross-functional discussions to resolve high-risk and high past-due accounts & invoicesPartner with global C2C process leaders to identify root cause issues and help conceptualize implement process improvements QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field 5-7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, finance, accounting, or related roles - previous consulting experience is preferredProven experience in financial transformation, with a specific focus on optimizing Accounts Receivable, within a global, matrixed organizationData analysis and modeling skills, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint. Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is essentialExperience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Inventory management process areas are viewed as valuable additional qualificationsStrong problem-solving and project management skills requiredOther DetailsThis role is based in Canton, OH.
