Concession Lead**The Concession Lead position is Seasonal***Typically beginning mid-April through Mid-September with hiring and training beginning as early as November.The Concession Lead will assist the Concession Manager with all daily operations of the concession and helps with Guest Service as needed. The Concession Lead will assist with inventory and stocking, performing opening and closing duties, training of the staff, and any other duties as deemed necessary for day-to-day operations of City Concession Locations. The Concession Lead provides excellent customer service while selling, preparing, and serving food items and beverages to patrons of Collinsville Aqua Park. The Concession Lead helps ensure order at the concession stand and throughout the park by enforcing rules and protocols. The Concession Lead can act as Manager in the absence of the Concession Manager.Minimum Qualifications17 years of age or olderIndividuals that are certified as a ServSafe Food Manager or can gain certification by employment and have 1-3 years of concession management experienceSix months of prior paid experience in a municipal or commercial food industryAbility to use various computer programs including Microsoft Office and other software programs and to accurately count money and run reports.Familiarity with money handling, group rentals, recreation software, and customer serviceCPR Certified or the ability to achieve certification by start datePreferenceFamiliarity with the supervision and operation of pools, pool chemicals, backwashing, and filters.Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate tasks to staff.Bilingual in Spanish.Physical RequirementsAbility to walk, run, stand, sit and complete a variety of motor skillsAbility to walk andor stand on concrete for the majority of your shiftAbility to bend to the floor and reach overheadAbility to lift and carry 30-70 pounds regularly to chest heightAbility to hear and see wellMental RequirementsAbility to demonstrate exceptional punctuality and attendanceAbility to project a positive attitude, manner, and appearanceAbility to think clearly and respond appropriately in an emergencyAbility to demonstrate mature judgment and ethical behaviorAbility to read, write and perform mathematical equationsAbility to work with limited supervisionAbility to multitaskAbility to use knowledge; critical thinking skills; judgment and problem-solving skills to handle situationsAbility to resolve conflict fairly, safely, and in a timely mannerEnvironmental ConditionsAbility to work staggered shift assignments as necessary including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work in hot, cold, wet andor other unpleasant outdoor conditionsAbility to work in a loud, fast-paced environmentPay RateThis position is $16.00 per hour.
