ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist patients with exercise and modalities in clinic Assist Physical Therapist in writing home exercise programsMaintain cleanliness of clinic by cleaning equipment, tools, tables, laundry, etc. Schedule patients, answer phone calls, verify insurance benefits, obtain prior authorizations and complete other basic clinic administrative tasks independently or with occasional oversightInput daily billing independently and follow up on claims as assignedMaintain current knowledge of majority of insurance requirements for authorizations, billing, etc. Assistance required for more complex insuranceauthorization situationsProvide crutch training and scooter training as assignedCommunicate with referring physicians for records requests, progress notes, etc.PREFERRED EXPERIENCEFront Desk Administrative experience in Fitness or Medical settingsPersonal Training experience Leadership experience (e.g. individual or small group coaching, small group management, sport's coaching, etc)SCHEDULE:Clinic hours are from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday. Individual shifts are typically 8 hours.Occasional Travel between clinics as needed.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:Relevant experience in a Front deskAdministrative Role OR a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Biology, Kinesiology, Psychology is required.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.Clear written and spoken communicationAble to relay clear and detailed messagesAble to take initiative and complete tasks with little directionEfficient time managementAbility to handle stressful situations and maintain pleasant demeanorHIPAA compliant Comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentProficient in PC softwareoperationsMotivatedPunctualTeam playerThe pay range for this role is:18 - 23 USD per hour (MOA - Hometown PT)
