POSITION SUMMARYSeeking a Civil Engineer II to support the firms progressive and dynamic civil and environmental engineering team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans for projectsLead or assist with preparation of construction documentsWork with junior, mid-level, and senior team members of various disciplines on project tasks and assignmentsDevelop unique solutions to solve problems encountered during designDevelop and work within budget and schedulePrepare plan drawings, technical specifications, design documentation reports, bid quantities, and construction cost estimates.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION3-5+ years of post graduate professional experienceBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalentExperience in preparing and advancing plan set packages through all project phasesIn depth knowledge of civilstructural standards, methods and practices.Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, LDT, Hydro CAD, Flowmasters, StormCAD, etcAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skillsDESIRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCEProfessional Engineering registration is highly preferred, or the intention to complete registrationAt the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based upon the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorization.
