The Pastry Cook II will work on a team to support the baking needs of our pastry kitchen for our multiple restaurant outlets within the Club. Congressional Country Club is looking for Team Members who believe the impossible is possible. Congressional Country Club is also passionate about growing and developing others so that we may promote them from within.What will be expected of you:Carefully follow all standard recipes as instructed.Consistently maintain high standards of quality, cost, aesthetics, and flavor of all prepared foods.Must know all aspects of bakery preparation, gourmet desserts, and saucesAssist in preparing and setting up food displays for banquets and catering.Assist in preparing plates for the Banquet Department.Assist in other duties as assigned by the Pastry Chef and Executive Chef.Clean assigned workstation areas and equipment.Maintain safe operation of food production equipment while utilizing safe and sanitary food handling practices.A flexible work schedule is expected, including working holidays, weekends, and special member events.
