Advancement & Community Engagement (ACE) - DevelopmentEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: New York City, New YorkReporting To: Director, Program RecruitingCompensation: $80,000 - $106,000 yearDescription*Please note - this is NOT a Talent Acquisition role - this role is focused on partnership recruiting in the higher education spaceThe Sr Manager Partnerships, Higher Education is a key member of the Recruitment team. This position is responsible for building relationships with colleges and universities, higher education associations, and strategic partner organizations, in order to scale the reach of our JED Campus programs. This will be accomplished by meeting quarterly and annual targets for the number and types of colleges and universities that have signed agreements with JED and meeting expected revenue goals. The Sr Manager will work closely with the Director of Recruitment to implement a strategic plan for meeting goals to grow JED's Higher Education programs. This position will also partner with the Marketing and Communications team to create demand for JED Campus within Higher Education including efforts for lead generation and exhibiting and coordinating presentations at national, regional, and state conferences. The Sr Manager will also be primarily responsible for responding to inbound inquiries and facilitating information sessionspresentations for Higher Education personnel as part of the recruitment process. The position requires flexibility, strong organizational, interpersonal, sales and customer service skills, research and writing skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on several projects and tasks simultaneously, and a strong eye for detail. This is a hybridmostly remote position with 20% travel required for conferences, promotional events, and to the JED headquarters in NYC as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and execution of an annual expansion plan with the Director of Recruitment to grow the reach of our JED Campus programs to more campuses and students nationwide. Foster strong internal relationships, particularly with the Higher Education team, to ensure they have direct insights into the current experiences at JED campuses and remain informed about program updates and enhancements. Actively work to meet andor exceed quarterly, and annual recruitment goals. Respond to inbound inquiries, cultivate interest, and facilitate information sessions to convert prospective campuses into program participants. Establish and maintain relationships with campus, state, regional, and national leaders that would lead to new campus partnerships or cohorts.Promote and facilitate regular JED Campus webinars for prospective partners. Develop automated email campaigns to follow-up with prospects that have engaged with JED's online resources or attended a webinar, presentation, or conference. Collect, input, and track data in Salesforce and Salesloft for all prospective, engaged, and registered campuses as well as leads.Transition campuses to the Onboarding team after contracts have been executed. Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to the organizational leadership team and other stakeholders. Contribute to grant proposal writing efforts and requests for proposals to secure funding for campuses to participate in JED Campus. Identify and attend strategic conferences and events in order to promote JED programs and services as an exhibitor and presenter.Manage and create content for websites, newsletters, and promotional materials with the Marketing and Communications team. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as higher education, psychology, social work or public health or commensurate experience.Minimum 5+ years' experience in an education sales related role with demonstrated track record of success in selling products or services to higher education institutions. Direct higher education experience is strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presence and the ability to develop and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences.Excels at managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing circumstances with a positive attitude. Proficiency in using customer relations management software (e.g., Salesforce), business development systems (e.g., Salesloft).Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, organize time effectively, and maintain a responsive, client-oriented approach. Ability to travel within the US 20% of the time. Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, including typing, viewing screens, and engaging in virtual meetings.Frequent communication via phone, email, and video conferencing, requiring clear speech, active listening, and visual acuity.Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds for conference booth setup, promotional materials, or event-related tasks.Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time, which may involve extended periods of standing, walking, or transporting materials at conferences and events.Flexibility to adjust to different work environments, including home offices, shared workspaces, and on-site event locations.
