Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for managing daily and monthly financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the leadership team with financial insights.This role offers flexibility in scheduling, averaging 15-20 hours per week, with increased hours at the end of the month and during financial closing periods. If you thrive in a structured environment, enjoy working with numbers, and have experience in bookkeeping or accounting, this could be the perfect role for you.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily financial reconciliation to ensure accurate records.Process payroll and manage payroll-related transactions.Reconcile credit card transactions and expenses.End-of-month closing and preparation of financial reports.Maintain accurate general ledger entries and ensure all accounts are balanced.Assist with accounts payable and receivable as needed.Support financial audits and reporting requirements.Ensure compliance with accounting policies and best practices.Who You Are:Experienced in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administrationMinimum 3+ years of experienceHighly detail-oriented with strong organizational fortable using accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and spreadsheets.Able to work independently while meeting deadlines.Trustworthy and reliable, with a strong understanding of confidentiality in financial matters.Availability:15-20 hours per week, with some week-over-week variance.Additional hours at the end of the month to support financial -office role based at our Baltimore location transitioning to hybrid as you ascend to fully perform all responsibilities.
