This position is eligible for Paid Leave hours at a proportional rate based on the number of hours regularly scheduled to work. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities Include:Draws samples of water for laboratory tests and analysesCleaning of machinery, equipment, and pumpsObserve and assist with addition of chemicals according to prescribed standardsReads gauges and transmits data to superiorObserve and assist with routine chemical analyses of waterObserve and assist operators with plant roundsObserve and assist with operation of plant equipment REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE Requires the applicant to be actively taking undergraduate or graduate level courses at an accredited institution to obtain an Associates, Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree, or be a recent graduate (within past year).Preferred candidates will be taking or have already completed courses to obtain an Illinois waterwastewater license.Requires a valid driver's license.
