Works under and takes direction from the Electric Operations Manager to perform maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and training on all electrical equipment and systems related to the fracturing process. The regional electrician works in both field and shop settings overseeing the prospective region in which they operate, in accordance with all company standard operating procedures and electrical guidelines.Essential ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and perform all duties according to company standard operating procedures and in compliance with all regulatory guidelines and electrical guidelines.Repair and maintain company equipment including:Electrical and electronic systems for E-Fleet equipmentPM compliance for all E-fleet districtsField compliance for electriciansCommunicate progress of repairs and fleet issues to colleagues, service writer and electrician managerE-fleet Coordinator as neededPerform preventive maintenance on company equipment according to company and manufacturer guidelinesIdentify problem areasAssist in making remedial action plansAssist in scheduling and costing repairsAble to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment problemsAssist in E-Fleet start-upsAssist in maintaining electrical parts inventory levels, which includes:Ordering of new componentsShipping and receiving of components parts out for repairTraining of maintenance and operations personnel on electrical systems and control software for E-fleet that pertain to equipment.Develop an understanding of fracturing and other oilfield operations.Perform work in other tasks as directed by manager.Performs other related duties as required.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociates degree preferredKnowledge of electrical equipment, control systems, QA-QC and troubleshooting.Experience in service company or oilfield operating company preferredFour years combined schooling and industrial experience requiredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong electrical backgroundIO knowledge (hardwireddiscrete, digitalethernet, and analog) and the ability to read electrical schematicsComputer skills - Windows environment, loading and setup of various software platforms desiredMust be able to work in adverse working conditions such as heat, wet, cold, noise, etc.Must be willing to work overtime when requiredAbility to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problemsAbility to read prints including mechanical and electrical printsPossess excellent analytical skills, data interpretationKnowledge of safety practices such as OSHA, lockouttagout, NFPA 70E and proper use of PPEStrong communication skillsWorking Conditions & Physical RequirementsAll duties require outside assignments and require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry and dustyMust be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbsSafety-sensitivity positionAbility to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, stoop, squat, tolerate prolonged standingwalking, balance, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, push and pull objectsAbility to operate hand controls with both handsAbility to operate mobile equipment, foot pedals with both feetAbility to perform sustained overhead reachingAbility to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weatherAbility to work in areas with the potential for high noise levelsAbility to work in cramped quartersLift objects of various dimensions and weightsLift up to 50 pounds, carry up to 150 feetAbility to tolerate working at heights up to 150 feetVision: normal depth perception, vision and ability to distinguish colorAll personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
