Come change the world with us.A Sr. Controls Engineer is required to maintain and support current data acquisition systems across the production floor. They are responsible for assisting operations, manufacturing engineering andor maintenance at any given time on troubleshooting and recovering any down production equipment. This position is required to self-manage projects on system or equipment upgrades with other departments and report status to Manager on weeklydaily basis.ResponsibilitiesEffectively Troubleshoot Electrical, PLCHMI and networking issues when equipment is down for production.Self-managing multiple medium-to-large scale automation projects simultaneously in a timely manner. Report status on weekly basis.Participate in designing, development and maintaining company automation standard in SCADAHMIPLC programming.Develop full scale electricalnetworking diagram for large scale project in AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Develop technical documentation such as Technical User Manual and Detailed Designed Specification documents.Continuous research with automation vendor on sensors, controls and testing equipment for potential projects and upgrades on existing automation systems.Maintain, update and backup SQL and Historian database for Enterprise operation on weekly basis.Design, develop, test and maintain automation solutions in electrical and software across various process areas.Responsible in troubleshooting a live Energy Cube (1000 volt DC) electrical connection and components issues with multimeter.Troubleshoot and upgrade AC-DC Inverters andor DC Power Supplies for Energy Cube Testing.Be able to work on PLCHMISCADAServerElectrical applications at anytime, sometimes remotely (Night, Weekend, or holiday) aligned with production downtime.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent communication and technical documentation skills.Able to design, develop, test and maintain large scale automation solutions.Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with PLC and HMI or SCADA programming.Minimum 5 years of Robotic Arm programming experience interfacing with PLC, preferred Fanuc programming skills.Minimum 5 years of experience with EthernetIP, Modbus TCP, RS485 and CIP Safety protocols.Minimum 8 years of experience in hands-on 24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC fortable of troubleshooting 1000VDC electrical circuitry and components.Proficient experience in Allen Bradley (Rockwell Automation) PLCHMISCADA, Fanuc Robot Arms, MES, Historian Server and SQL Database solution experiences.Certificate in Lean-Six-Sigma and High level language programming experience such as C++ will be a plus.Proficient of LOTO procedure and GAMP 5 Guidelines.Good understanding in NEC, IBC and NFPA.Good communication and documentation skills with MS Office product in URS, FRS, DDS and FAT Process.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering requiredMinimum 8 years of related experience requiredTravelLocal and overnight travel within North America may be required less than 10% of the time.Working ConditionsOffice Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. May be required to exert up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.Factory - The worker may be subject to hazards.
