Role DescriptionWe are seeking a high impact Investment Banking Analyst to join Nomura Insurance Solutions to support the origination, structuring and execution of insurance financing transactions and further develop our capital markets platformWhat Role Might You Play? Deal Execution: Effectively interact with clients and deal teams to support all aspects of live transactions including the creation of marketing materials and financial models; conducting lender diligence and negotiating legal documentation including term sheets, commitment letters and credit agreements New Business Development: Lead all aspects of the effort to create pitch materials to win new mandates, create new proprietary content and ideas Strategic Analysis: Conduct financial, structural, and business analysis to assess the appropriate debt level and structures for potential transactions Client Relationship Management: Generate and present ideas at client meetings as a member of a deal team alongside senior bankers Team Management and Development: Manage and assist analysts in creating deliverables for execution and support the training and mentoring of junior professionalsSkills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge RequiredDesired Skillset Passion for developing an understanding in the capital markets and financing environment Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Self-starter with ability work in fast-paced environment Outstanding technical and analytical skillsRequirements Experience working with insurance companies in an actuarial capacity, within reinsurance or in FIG investment banking is highly desired.
