Quick Lube & Tire Technician

We invest heavily in our technology and our people to deliver best-in-class service to our customers.We're looking for an energized automotive professional with knowledge of diagnostics, service, and repairs to join our team in Chicago!As a Quick Lube & Tire Technician you will have an opportunity to learn basic automotive repair services, including, basic vehicle safety inspection, mounting and balancing of tires, engine oil change, battery testing and replacement, and other basic maintenance services. Your training will be on the job, working with experienced mechanics. This work requires teaming, respect, and problem-solving with different parts of the organization. What you'll doInspecting and assessing tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality, and overall healthChange oil, including installing new oil drain plug and filterPerform all lubrication servicesComplete vehicle inspectionsClean and lubricate fittings as neededRecommending appropriate repair treatment or replacement of tiresRepairing punctures and replacing faulty valvesInstalling and balancing tires, completing wheel alignment proceduresClean and detail vehicles, as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and collaborative work environment on a continuous basisAssist with onboarding and training of new technicians to help up-skill the teamWhat we look for1-2 years of automotive experience with hands-on service, maintenance, and repairsProfessional experience with new vehicle dealer services, preferredKnowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in automotive servicesCapable in mechanical and electrical diagnostics including OBD IIToyota and Kia experience a plusComputer proficiency, requiredValid unrestricted driver's license, requiredBenefits20 PTO daysMedical, dental, and vision contribution plansCompensation range: $20-$25 hourly*Offer amounts within our ranges are based on skills, experience, relevant education or training, and other job-related factors.
