Global Financial Firm located in New York, NY has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst - Resolution & Recovery Planning"This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.****Video f2f interviews are required prior to all offers.Pay rate range: $76.00 - $90.00 Negotiable based upon years of experienceRole: Markets Resolution & Recovery Planning Team (1LoD), FOCUSES on RRP documentation.Job Description:The Risk and Control team directly supports Markets globally.Our goal is to establish and maintain a robust 1st Line of Defense control environment and culture to minimize operational risk within the business.Markets Resolution & Recovery Planning Team is a sub team within Risk and Control.Core daily responsibilities include:We are looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to join the Markets Resolution & Recovery Planning Team, coordinating the deliverables for IDI and 165d.•Support assessment, analysis and implementation of regulatory requirements related to RRP.•Author chapters and other relevant sections in Client's RRP plan related to Derivative and Trading Non-Wind down.•Proactively engage with peers and senior management across Global Markets and Support functions, to ensure successful implementation and monitoring of Resolution Planning and Stay requirements.Qualifications:•Successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience in either RRP, Business Risk and Control, CAO team, Regulatory Reporting, or ProductFinancial Control related functions.•Fundamental knowledge of US and UK Recovery & Resolution Planning requirements and other applicable regulations.•Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with experience in a complex global environment.•Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.•Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; must be a creative problem solver.
