16 week contract assignment. May be extended.Shifts: 8am - 4pmMonday - Friday $80 - 85hrJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations that aid in patient care.ResponsibilitiesPerform CT scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to discuss scan results and diagnostic evaluations.Maintain equipment functionality by performing routine checks and troubleshooting as needed.Adhere to aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations accurately.Assist in training and mentoring new staff or students in CT technology practices.Stay updated on advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.RequirementsAART certificationgraduate of approved Radiology schoolNYS licensure to practice as a CT Technologist.Proficiency in operating CT scanners and related imaging equipment.Knowledge of sonography, X-ray procedures, PET scans, and diagnostic evaluation processes is highly desirable.GE CT Scanner experience2 yrs with exp Contrast1 yr EPIC experienceIV certification requiredStrong attention to detail with excellent patient care skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members.Join us in providing exceptional care through advanced imaging technology!Job Types: ContractPay: $68.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:8 hour shiftEvening shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftLicenseCertification:IV Certification (Required)
