We are looking for a hands-on Quality Food Safety Supervisor in several industries, mainly in the food industry The candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring that meat products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Here are the specific skills and qualities needed for this role:1. Technical Knowledge & ExperienceUnderstanding of Meat Processing - Knowledge of slaughtering, cutting, packaging, and storage processes.Food Safety Regulations - Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), USDA, FDA, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and ISO standards.Microbiology & Contamination Control - Awareness of bacteria (e.g., Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria) and how to prevent contamination.Cold Chain Management - Ensuring proper refrigeration and freezing methods.2. Leadership & Supervisory SkillsTeam Management - Leading and training QC workers on inspection and hygiene procedures.Decision-Making - Quickly identifying and addressing quality or safety issues.Problem-Solving - Finding practical solutions to production defects or compliance failures.3. Attention to Detail & Analytical SkillsInspection & Testing - Ability to spot defects, measure meat quality, and interpret lab results.Data Analysis - Reviewing reports to detect patterns in quality issues.4. Communication & DocumentationClear Reporting - Documenting quality checks, deviations, and corrective actions.Regulatory Compliance Communication - Coordinating with auditors, inspectors, and production teams.5. Adaptability & Crisis ManagementHandling Recalls & Emergencies - Responding to food safety incidents effectively.Working Under Pressure - Maintaining high standards even during peak production.
