Young Joni is looking for a Front of House Manager!Young Joni is James Beard Award-winning Chef Ann Kim's restaurant located in Northeast Minneapolis. Our bustling dining room and back bar has been a Northeast Minneapolis staple for over 8 years. We are currently looking for a Front of the House Manager who can contribute their industry skills and expertise while also learning and growing with us as a leader. What you'll be doing as Front of House Manager:In this role, you'll manage service, nurture a healthy FOH culture and take responsibility for: Executing the hospitality vision and managing steps of service for the main dining room + bar, Back bar, and private eventsTraining, mentoring, and leading an engaged, thriving, high-performing teamManaging front-of-house systems and processes that streamline operations, increase productivity, and ensure financial sustainabilityWorking closely with the GM and Bartender Lead to maintain quality standards for our bar programWhat you'll need to be successful in this position:A passion for people and create a memorable dining experiences, and also:Effective hospitality and interpersonal skills, along with a willingness to teach, learn, and evolve5+ years experience in the hospitality industry with a passion for food and beverage2 years experience in restaurant leadership or team supervisionInterest and ability to practice highly active, supportive management style while in serviceAbility to navigate conflict with an open mind and integrityStrong communication and organization skillsBasic restaurant and computer software proficiency: we use Toast, Resy, 7shifts, and the Gmail business suiteAvailability that includes weekends and nightsWhat we have to offer you:Young Joni is part of Vestalia Hospitality, which is a group of independently-owned, neighborhood restaurants that make a big impact on the lives of our guests and teams.
