Exciting opportunity to join a growing legal team at REITRole will focus on CLOs and securitizations related to MBS, CMBS mattersAbout Our ClientREITJob DescriptionThe Assistant General Counsel will report to the General Counsel and will be responsible for:Act as lead internal counsel on new securitizations from CLOs to CMBS transactionsNegotiate warehouse lending, syndicated lending and repurchase facilities with banks and fundsProvide legal support for the Company's mortgage warehouse and repurchase facilities and its secured and unsecured credit facilitiesProvide legal advice on CLOs and securitization mattersProvide legal advice and consultation focused on a variety of legal issues relating to the commercial real estate industry, including bridge and mezzanine financingSupport the General Counsel with General corporate compliance and legal assistance, including but not limited to drafting and review of contracts, including those related to the Company's joint venturesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
