About the Opportunity:•Job Title: Manual 12-Ton Di-Acro Setup Operator•Pay: $18Hour•Location: Mendota Heights, MN•Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Thurs 6AM-3PM and Fri 6AM-12PM.Daily functions: Set up and prepare manual 12-ton Di-Acro press brake for production terpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine proper setup and bending sequences.Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job.Program machine settings include bend angles, back gauge positions, and tonnage requirements.Safely operate the press brake to bend, shape, and form sheet metal parts to precise measurements.Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to ensure product quality and accuracy.Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Desired qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience andor training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven experience as a Setup Operator in sheet metal manufacturing.Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to machine operation.Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Physical requirements: Sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.Frequently is required to stand and walk. Regularly lift andor move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift andor move up to 50 pounds and occasionally life andor move up to 100+pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus regularly.
