Job DescriptionGardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring a Global Security Operations Center Operator!Ready to suit up as a Global Security Operations Center Operator?*Must have at minimum one year of GSOC experience*Please include your most up to date GSOC resumeWhat matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.As a Security Officer - Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.What's in it for you:Set schedule: 40 hours per week, Saturday - Wednesday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (Schedule will vary must be flexible)Competitive hourly wage of $30 hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, disability coverage, and life insurance optionsCareer growth opportunities at GardaWorldUniform provided at no costResponsibilities of Global Security Operations Center OperatorThe individual will work in a GSOC environment monitoring several screensThe Operator will use a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources, open-source media, Internet, and in-house toolsProvide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activitiesRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving mannerInvestigate alarms and respond by sending security patrol, or alerting Fire services or Police as neededConduct investigations using numerous applications to confirm or deny any accusations or events reported to the Global Security TeamHave the ability to multitask under stressful or intense circumstancesSupport the GSOC Manager in the completion of necessary tasksExcellent customer service is always your top priority.You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.You provide rapid response in critical situations.You're good with reading and writing detailed reports.You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.Qualifications of a Global Security Operations Center OperatorBe authorized to work in the U.S.Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GEDYou have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)Must have at minimum one year of GSOC experienceBe able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening processStrong report writing skillsGood eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focusStrong proficiency with technologyIf you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work.
