You lead, support, and mentor an interdisciplinary team to deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure in a wide range of contexts from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes in highly urban settings to signature trail projects in suburban and rural areas that highlight and enhance the natural environment. You use programs such as MicroStation to fulfill production work on your projects. You will share your knowledge with staff and clients, to develop feasibility studies, concept plans, and construction documents, as well mentor your colleagues to ensure that our projects are consistently of the highest quality.You participate in business development pursuits in your home region as well as across our North American offices. Your job can sometimes be challenging, but you get to work with a close-knit team that is passionate about the work and the communities that you serve.Work Schedule for a Senior Engineer (Civil Roadway):This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2-3 days per week. The Pittsburgh office of Toole Design is conveniently located in Market Square, in the heart of Downtown. It is blocks from multiple bus routes, on the future BRT route, and near the Wood Street T stop.
