This role provides the opportunity to leverage your expertise in evaluating construction claims, assess project risks, and support surety providers in navigating complex challenges.Manage construction projects, including on-site supervision and compliance monitoringInvestigate and analyze performance and payment bond claims, contractor defaults, and construction deficienciesReview construction documents, prepare technical reports, and conduct project schedule analysisPerform construction project financial audits and evaluate contract claimsPrepare and monitor consulting budgets while maintaining targeted billabilityDevelop and maintain key client relationshipsParticipate in technical presentations and prepare marketing materialsTravel as required for projects. Travel includes both local and national travel, with minimal noticeQualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field; advanced degree preferred (Related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education)ExperienceMinimum of 10 years industry experienceDemonstrated technical expertise in construction management, engineering, or architectureStrong communication, writing, and organizational skillsProficiency in standard software packages and project management toolsAbility to manage complex tasks and perform under high-pressure conditionsProfessional certifications (PE, RA, CDT, CCCA, or CCM) will receive special considerationAdditional InformationThe annualized base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $145,000 per year.
