Lead Diesel Mechanic

Job DescriptionOur client in Long Island, NY is expanding and looking for an Experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic to take charge of their shop. Technicians should have previous experience repairing and maintaining commercial heavy-duty diesel trucks.Qualification:Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting faults codes andor vehicle malfunctionsPerform preventative maintenance and safety inspectionsMaintaining work orders.Perform D.O.T inspectionsRequirement:Strong Computer diagnostic experienceShould have full set of toolsMust have basic computer skillMust have a valid Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle recordCompensation:$30.00 - 37.00hourly, wage range varies based on experience, certification and qualification.Benefits package available and includes Drug, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, and 401k.Shift:Days, 8:00am to 4:00pm (Monday - Friday).
