If this sounds like a match for your skills and experience, please apply today!Responsibilities•Work alongside our dental hygienists, multi-specialty Doctors, and administrative staff in composing comprehensive treatment plans•Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans•Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate•Determine and diagnose oral diseases and provide appropriate treatment for common dental problems including root canals, surgical extractions, cleanings, and restoration•Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated•Conduct work that is compliant with office policies and procedures; safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines; and infection and infectious diseases control standardsQualifications•General Practice Residency (GPR)•NYS dental license•NYS resident•Possess strong bedside manner, and great communication skills•CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications are required•A Bachelor's degree and DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school are required•A minimum of two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is required•Board Certified andor Board Eligible in Dentistry
