The Kitchen Manager is responsible forAlways delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A Quality Food Safety RequirementsCoaching the behaviors of all Team Leaders and Team Members who work in the Kitchen.Those behaviors include:Sense of Urgency that creates surprisingly fast Speed of ServiceAttention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followedExecution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environmentMaintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchenAdditional Responsibilities:Inventory managementEnd-of-Month counts and inputMaintaining accurate transfer logsEffective & efficient orderingMaintaining a LEAN production environmentCoaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all kitchen Team MembersTroubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilitiesEnsure all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning on a per set schedule.Behavior Characteristics:Work a maximum of up to forty hours per week in the restaurantAllocate at least two hours per week to planningFocus on systematically and effectively communicating all Kitchen related goals and success factors to Team MembersCombine critical thinking and practical leadership to create a culture of innovationEffectively coach and give directionIntentionally and methodically grow and nurture relationships with the staffBe able to connect with a multicultural teamAlign hiring, training, daily practices and evaluation practices with the Vision of the organization and the Thematic Goal for the yearEnthusiastically and passionately lead the Kitchen teamAs a Restaurant Manager you will:Demonstrate a passion for the business and managing the overall operationsFind, train, develop and recognize the best peopleSet the pace for the remainder of the team Manage daily activities to ensure guests receive excellent customer serviceDemonstrate a strong awareness and concern for food quality and safetyAdjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities
