Job DescriptionIf you're a self-starter who enjoys working independently and is looking for a great opportunity Regions Hospital is looking for a Stationary Engineer to join our team.The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be responsible for Operating Boilers plant equipment; required to provide steam and chillers to provide chilled water to the hospital and associated buildings; to keep energy losses and major repair to a minimum through preventive maintenance, water treatment, and routine inspection; to record equipment usage and production for reference and budget reports; to operate District Heating heat exchangers (when applicable); to keep boiler plant equipment and spaces clean; and to perform related duties as assigned.Work schedule: FTE: 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly) Night ShiftRequired Qualifications:Stationary Engineer:Minimum Qualifications: Experience: 3 years of experience that qualifies for 1st class B engineer's licensure OR successful completion of operating engineer technical college apprenticeship program. Licensure Registration Certification: Must possess a First Class "B", or a First Class "A" or a Chief "B" or a Chief "A" Minnesota State Engineers license.Must possess a valid Minnesota State Driver's pensation: 1st class Engineer license: $45.38 hr. plus 3nd shift differential $3.60 hr. with additional weekend differential of $1.00 hr.Provisional:Minimum Qualifications: Experience:1 year of experience that qualifies for 2nd class B engineer's licensure OR successful completion of boiler operator building maintenance technical college that produces a 2nd class B or higher license.Licensure Registration Certification: Must possess a current Minnesota State Engineers License, 2nd Class "B" or 2nd Class "A" (minimum). Must be able to obtain 1st class license within 3 years to maintain employment.Must possess a valid Minnesota State Driver's pensation: 2nd class A or B engineer license: $41.16 hr. plus 3nd shift differential $3.60 hr. with additional weekend differential of $1.00 hr.
