Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPurpose of Position: GRO community provides culturally relevant male counselors that are able to connect with the most challenging clients. Additionally, GRO Community takes an innovative approach to providing counseling to our clients. We take our time in building strong relationships with our clients to build strong therapeutic alliance.Essential Functions: Assist client with job readinessplacement, Individual therapy, Crisis counseling (if needed), Case management (guardian, client centered: school, social worker, probation officer), & community support intervention. Assess clients and diagnose mental health issues. Create a treatment plan for patients based on the needs of the individual. Refer patient to other healthcare professionals if necessary. Work with families to administer family counseling.
