All Chicago has expanded its programming to focus on serving people fleeing gender-based violence (GBV), including those fleeing domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and other unsafe situations. HUD awarded All Chicago 4.1 million of DV Bonus funding to serve the GBV population. All Chicago is the grant recipient. All Chicago works to select, train, and support DV providers in the Chicago area to provide services to individuals fleeing GBV that lack financial resources and have no subsequent resident. Learn more at .Position Summary: Primarily, the GBV Program Associate will be responsible for supporting the GBV Rapid Re-Housing partnerships through being the main point of contact for any questions or concerns that may arise regarding programmatic guidelines, policies and procedures.The Program Associate will also provide support to the Program Manager during annual and cyclical activities, such as annual monitoring site visits, Refresher and Orientation training for and monthly Rapid Re-Housing Partner Meetings.Desired Core Competencies:Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrated willingness to adapt to changing situations and work in diverse munication: Communicates clearly and collaboratively through written and verbal methods. Detail orientation: Able to process and organize a lot of information, complete detailed tasks, and remain organized.Facilitation: Facilitates effective meetings with partner agencies, manages conflict, and promotes joint problem solving.Specific Responsibilities: GBV Rapid Rehousing Program Associate Duties: Responsible for reviewing, approving, and processing check requests as well as utility submissions and reviewing any supporting documentation as set forth by the Department of Family and Supportive Services (DFSS) on a monthly basis:Responsible for reviewing and approving Client Assistance requests to provide immediate assistance to participants in the RRH programAssist with preparing and facilitating Quarterly partner meetings, monthly case manager meetings, support hour, and other trainings as need arises Assist with preparation for and execution of internal and external audits. Act as a liaison for partner agencies with Chicago Rents, the Rapid Rehousing team, landlords throughout the city of Chicago and community organizations Will help identify and support agencies for various pilot projects that the RRH team initiates Have familiarity with renter protections including but not limited to the Just Housing Amendment and the Residential Landlord and Tenant Ordinance Assist with creating and maintaining workflows and guidance documentation to reflect the most accurate information from federal, state and local mandates for case managers Complete 40-hour Domestic Violence training once every two years to remain in compliance with DFSS regulationsAdditional Program Team Duties: Respond to calls from homeless and at-risk community members seeking resources and assistance Provide back-up support for other Program Team activities including but not limited to attending Accelerated Moving Events (AME's) and in-person facilitation Collaborate with other Program Associates in creating, formatting and implementing workflows and documentation updates Other Duties: Support All Chicago staff, as necessary RequirementsQualifications: A background in social work, homeless services, supportive housing, direct service or equivalent experience is highly preferred Experience working with the Gender-Based Violence populationA familiarity of social services and resources available across the city of Chicago Understanding of housing subsidies (including but not limited to Rapid Rehousing, Permanent Supportive Housing, voucher programs) andor experience with priority populations such as survivors of gender-based violence and youth highly desirable Effective writing and verbal communications skillsStrong administrative and data management skills Skilled in office-based applications including but not limited to: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), Salesforce, AvidXchangeCompensation All Chicago offers comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance, and disability, employer-matched retirement plan, paid leave, and more.
