For more information, please visit and Job Function:This individual is responsible for cost and general accounting for assigned plants in the Americas Region. Ensures compliance with US GAAP for with all transactions recorded and balances reconciled and that SOX 404 controls related to all accounting for all sites are operating properly and effectively.Essential Job Duties:Performance of all cost accounting functions for assigned Americas plants including annual standard labor & overhead rate review and revaluation, product cost rolls, inventory revaluations; handling, slow-moving, FIFO and LCM reserve calculations.Management of all general accounting functions for assigned America's plants including all monthly quarterly journal entries to properly record transactions or state ending general ledger account balances.Preparation of monthly quarterly reconciliations for all designated plants general ledger accounts.Coordination with Product Line MBU Financial Planning & Analysis for the monthly review with Plant Management of Plant Cost Center actual vs. plan expenditures reports and other product gross margin analyses.Provide monthly analysis of plant results and work with the operations team to explain manufacturing variances and overall plant results.Perform various project work as designated by Regional Controller.Maintain compliance with Vibrantz Code of Business Conduct, policies and procedures, management systems, and all applicable Environmental, Health, Safety other regulations.Act according to the Vibrantz Values & BehaviorsRequired Qualifications and Knowledge: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in General ledger and cost accounting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required. MBA is preferred. IFS or Ross or similar ERP systems experience required. A clear thinker with proven technical skills in a manufacturing environment.Ability to work under pressure and work with all levels of management and employees.Ethical and credible, with ability to develop and maintain effective control mechanisms.Flexible approach and self-motivated with strong team spirit.Travel Requirements: 15-20% primarily in the USAPhysical Demands: General office environment and operation of computer and office equipment, e.g. fax, copier, scanner.LocationMayfield Heights, OHVibrantz is committed to protecting your privacy.
