Provide compassionate patient focus and superior customer service -keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Coordinate appointments and perform general clerical duties at the unit nursing station to assure the timely, efficient and accurate flow of patient information. Assist Practitioners and Management by performing blood draws and taking vital signs of patients in clinic. Welcome and direct visitors and hospital colleagues to appropriate areas. Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities. This is a full-time, day shift working 9:00AM - 5:00PM position located at NYPBrooklyn Methodist.Preferred Criteria Certification as Medical AssistantPrevious Medical Assistant experience preferredRequired Criteria High School Diploma or GEDSuccessful completion of an approved Medical Assistant programCandidate must possess excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and deal effectively with all levels of staffSuperior customer service skills and a strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experienceSalary Range:$24.26-$28.96HourlyIt all begins with you.
