Director, Clinical Laboratory Operations - Molecular

Job Description Directs and plans the development and operations of Clinical Laboratories. Coordinatesresources of multiple administrative disciplinesfunctions of the Hospital. Ensures continualefficient and compliant operational performance of the department and related areas. Job Responsibility •Leads the Clinical Laboratory Operations' group by developing, communicating,and building consensus for goalsprograms that support business or region.•Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.•Develops clinical laboratory operations goals and objectives including identifyingand implementing opportunities for enhanced patient satisfaction.•Reports on operational performance, justification andor corrective action.•Implements policies, standards and procedures that support and facilitate clinicallaboratory operations services across the system.•Develops strategies for clinical laboratory operations programs adaptation tomarket changes and implements new service delivery models.•Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection,development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.•Reviews comprehensiveness of programs on an ongoing basis and developsstrategies for program adaptation to market changes.•Identifies and implements technology to improve operations.•Performs related duties as required.
