Job Description Directs and plans the development and operations of Clinical Laboratories. Coordinatesresources of multiple administrative disciplinesfunctions of the Hospital. Ensures continualefficient and compliant operational performance of the department and related areas. Job Responsibility •Leads the Clinical Laboratory Operations' group by developing, communicating,and building consensus for goalsprograms that support business or region.•Develops and articulates a short-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.•Develops clinical laboratory operations goals and objectives including identifyingand implementing opportunities for enhanced patient satisfaction.•Reports on operational performance, justification andor corrective action.•Implements policies, standards and procedures that support and facilitate clinicallaboratory operations services across the system.•Develops strategies for clinical laboratory operations programs adaptation tomarket changes and implements new service delivery models.•Selects, develops, manages, and evaluates direct reports; oversees the selection,development, management and evaluation of indirect reports.•Reviews comprehensiveness of programs on an ongoing basis and developsstrategies for program adaptation to market changes.•Identifies and implements technology to improve operations.•Performs related duties as required. Job Qualification •Bachelor's Degree required•Current License to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in New YorkState required, plus specialized certifications as needed.•4 years of technical experience, required and 0-2 years of leadership management experience, preferred OR Master's Degree with 2 years of technicalexperience Molecular Diagnostic experience, preferred. *Additional Salary Detail The salary range andor hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary andor rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).The salary range for this position is $130,300-$228,000year Salary ranges shown on third-party job sites may not accurately reflect ranges provided by Northwell Health.
