Machine Adjuster Trainee

Hiring immediately for 2nd 3rd shift Machine Adjusters in our City of Industry, CA manufacturing plant.Machine Operator PaySchedule:Pay $21hr or higher depending on experience + shift premiums2nd shift premium $0.70hr : 2pm10pm3rd shift premium $1.50hr : 10pm - 6amTraining is on 1st shift6am - 2pmSchedule: Mon - Fri Sat required during busy seasonbased on business needs.Machine Operator Responsibilities & Daily Duties:Sets up and adjusts converting equipment for safe and efficient operation.Start-up, adjustments involving close tolerances, maintenance, and troubleshooting; Change window rolls (overhead).Assists in adjusteroperator training; Provides coverage if neededExamines product to ensures quality process is followed; Minimizes waste.Performs preventative maintenance to ensure consistent quality production.Overtime as needed; Compliance with safety rules and regulations.Maintains clean machine and work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc).Other duties and assignments as required.Machine Operator Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.Frequently required to lift andor move up to 55 pounds with assistance.Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.) ; Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs.Cenveo is an EEO EmployerThe ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.Candidates with direct envelope: 2-4 years experience is preferred.Candidates with some or no direct envelope: a minimum of 18-24 months of relevant mechanical experience is required.Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.Flexibility required with machine assignment.
