Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a Sales Executive on behalf of our client, a software company based in New York that develops a platform for building enterprise applications. The Sales Executive will play a critical role in driving the company's U.S. sales operations, focusing on identifying, qualifying, and prospecting business opportunities. The ideal candidate is a charismatic and driven individual who can work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead U.S. sales activities to expand the company's presence and increase market share. Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline and closing deals. Manage the entire sales process for identified prospects, from initial contact through closure. Work closely with Solutions Engineers to gather requirements, prepare demos, and organize follow-ups. Develop and support account planning, understanding client strategies, and coordinating relationships between management and clients. Collaborate with the marketing team to produce tailored sales collateral for the target market. Work with global teams across different regions to ensure consistent messaging and sales strategies. Requirements Include: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in software vendor sales or consultative sales. Proven track record of managing the entire sales process for complex software solutions. Strong experience with Tier 1 & Tier 2 banks and hedge funds in the U.S. Knowledge of electronic trading, electronic execution, trading platforms, EOMS, and back & middle office systems. Skills: Excellent negotiation, listening, and customer service skills. Strong mathematical and statistical skills. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Certifications: Relevant certifications in sales or software solutions (preferred). Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the financial industry, particularly in electronic trading, risk, and compliance. Understanding of software engineering or experience from a business school background. Key Competencies: Tenacious, result-driven mindset with a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding sales targets. Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively across departments and regions. Ability to manage complex sales processes and IT installations in a consultative manner. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while being a team player. Additional Information: Work Environment: This is a full-time position based in New York, NY. The role offers a flexible work environment with some remote work options.
