Architectural Designer/Project Manager

Media Real Estate, A Media, PA-based Property Management Company is seeking a full-time Architectural DesignerProject Manager to join our team! This person will join our Architectural Construction department to design and renovate existing commercial suites. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with prior experience in residential and commercial project management. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:This position primarily deals with commercial buildings, with some residential building projects from time to timeWorks alongside in-house real estate agents to assess potential and current tenants' needs, space requirements, program criteria, and develops layoutsideas accordinglyProducesprovides initial sketches, plans, specifications, and detailed drawings of suites, floors, and buildings as neededWorks with plans in CAD formatFiles necessary permits with local municipalitiesEstimates costs for fit-outs, calculates up-charges, and tracks expensesMeets with tenants to choose selections (i.e., finishes, flooring, paint, carpet)Manages in-house construction technician and third-party contractors to ensure work is carried out according to plantimelineResolves issues during construction phaseReviewsapproves contractor invoices and in-house construction technician timecardQualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:Solid working knowledge of subject matter, policies, procedures, and practicesTypically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience Experience with departmental budgeting, planning, and procedural changeThe ability to pass a background check and drug screeningWhy Work With Us?We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Medical and dental insurancePaid holidaysPaid time off (PTO)401(k) plan with employer matchSupplemental benefits, including accident and disability insuranceCompany paid short term disability insurance Media Real Estate (MRE) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or any other protected class.
