Come learn, grow, work hard, and enjoy being a part of a fun-loving team bringing optimum medical care to our clients and patients in Brooklyn.As an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician, you will:Acting as a vital communication link between our Internists and clients, supporting doctors by providing updates on patient histories, lab results, and other essential information via phone, email, and in-person interactions.Performing intravenous catheter placements and assisting with endotracheal intubation.Supporting endoscopic and ultrasound procedures (including GI, nasal, airway, etc.) as well as assisting with radiology tasks.Ensuring the proper setup, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment both before and after procedures.Discharging Internal Medicine patients and providing crucial client education on procedures such as insulin injections, subcutaneous fluid administration, and feeding tube care.Demonstrating the ability to work independently and as part of a team while delivering high-quality patient care.Staying detail-oriented and effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously.What we're offering:Advanced Medicine - Our hospital offers the highest level of medicine, and our doctors and support team want you to use and stretch your technical skillset, growing as a technician and advancing patient careRemarkable Culture - We work well as a team and are all about supporting each other while encouraging your career development!
