Software Resources has an immediate job opportunity for an Administrative Assistant with a major corporation in Burbank, CA.This assignment is Onsite Mon-Thurs in Burbank, CA and Remote on Fri. There is a possibility of Overtime, but not guaranteed.Duration: 11 month(s)Pay Rate: $29 - $31hr DOEMUST HAVES: Manage heavy-busy calendar, Excellent Communication Skills, Team Player, Ask questions, Proactive, Extremely Detailed, great Follow thru, Take on Multiple tasks at one time - ability to work multiple projects and complete all, Prioritize is KEY, Anticipate needs - establish patterns, manage tracking and is able to keep up in a very Fast Paced environment.Description:•Read relevant newspapers and trade journals so you are completely immersed in the mission of the office;•Prepare regular reports & summaries and collaborate on ad hoc projects - you'll have tasks that you "own" completely;•Create multi-city travel itineraries, taking into account time zones, weather delays, traffic and fatigue levels;•Interface directly with other senior executives and executive support professionals - your ability to work well with people on all levels is a very important part of your job;•Review your leader's schedule to build-in time for things like brainstormingexecuting and traveling to their next meeting;•Understand the day's priorities so you can be strategic about how you direct phone calls and manage calendar changes;•Be ready to throw the entire schedule out the door when an emergency comes up, then pick it up again when the dust settles;•Schedule conference rooms, meetings and video calls;•Handle extremely confidential, sensitive information, remembering that Disney is a publicly traded company;•Draft letters and emails on behalf of your leaders;•Manage large purchase orders and vendor contract processing;•Process expense reports, renew memberships & subscriptions and work on ticket requests for shows;•Manage purchase orders and vendor contract processing;•Assist with on-boarding new employees - you'll be the "friendly face" that newbies count on to answer all their questions, including some who are extremely senior in the organization;•Mentor and train other support professionals in hard skills like computer programs, and soft skills like teamwork;•Assist with planning large, high-profile events like premiers, product launches, off-sites as well as smaller-scale gatherings such as service recognition parties and team-building activities(as needed);•Partner with all executive support professionals within the segment in order to ensure smooth, effective & accurate communication to the broader team•Additional office support and supply management, as neededBasic Qualifications:•Sharp written and verbal communication skills, including flawless grammar and a rich vocabulary;•Desire to immerse yourself fully and learn all aspects of your executive's business;•Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlinesdeliverables;•Strong proficiency with all types of computers, phones and office equipment, as well as mastery of Microsoft Office programs and ability to quickly learn and master new office management programs, like SAP, Confluence, Concur, Smartsheets, and working in a Windows environment•A calm head and steady hand to deal with the unexpected;•"EQ" skills to build bridges, forge alliances and encourage people to want to work with you;•Complete reliability handling confidential information;•Desire to truly be helpful to your leaders and co-workers, to go the extra mile without being asked;•Some flexibility in your schedule - we value worklife balance, but in a pinch, a bit more time is may be needed;•Very strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail; and•A professional demeanor, positive outlook and a can-do attitude.Preferred Qualifications:•Experience at The Walt Disney Company,•Experience working in a highly matrixed environment;•Previous Communications exp a plus•At least 2 years of supporting C-Suite executives (VP+) andor equivalent experienceRequired Education:High School degree andor equivalent experienceDon't delay.
