Position Duties:The Fray Operations Coordinator works to manage all aspects of our league equipment & facility needs. In conjunction with the Senior Operations Manager, assist with purchasing equipment, training field crew staff, and setting up our sports leagues. You will play a critical role in defining how Fray attracts, retains, and helps create memorable player experiences. Our equipment is the first thing our players and customers see daily. The quality of our products plays a role in providing a positive (or negative) experience more than any other part of our operation. Your job success will be measured by the following for the department:Proper inventory management of equipment and medical supplies, smart ordering of equipment each season, and maintaining equipment at the office;Sustaining and organizing equipment at venues and keeping an accurate account of all sporting items;Overseeing leagues as required by the company; this includes being trained and well-versed in all sports leagues we run (rules, field setup, etc.);Working with the staffing department to recruit, retain, and train new staff when needed. In addition to your core function, your role includes but is not limited to jumping into the rest of the sports and event operations as needed and being a team player. Some items might consist of filling in for part-time staff when needed, interacting with players, facilities, and other league partners, supporting events, creating sports schedules, answering emails, updating websites, hosting activities, and helping the rest of the team achieve our larger mission.Position Duties:Operation Duties: Managing the direct line of communication in tandem with the other operations coordinator for the equipment needs of players, league coordinators, and league hosts; Administrative Duties: Processing requests for staff andor players, helping with rollout & kickoff commish projects;Assembling Duties: Ensuring all orders are accurately and efficiently placed for distribution to teamsplayers;Functional Duties: Maintaining daily oversight of spreadsheets for equipment, creating schedules, updating the crib sheets, and sending out detailed equipment information to teams, league coordinators, and league hosts;Customer Experience: Providing detailed information to players about shirt ordershost equipment needs as well as assisting the Senior Community Engagement Manager with general customer experience needs;Weekend + Night Duties: Rotating schedule for overseeing leagues.You will be part of our sports team, making all of our sports leagues and tournaments possible for our players in the greater DMV. This position will help keep the whole team organized and must have keen attention to detail regarding player responses, league scheduling, equipment logistics, and customer communication.Core & Specialized Duties:With the support of the Senior Operations Manager, you will oversee the ordering, receiving, and distribution of league shirts and trophies.Working with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure the daily maintenance of the office building is complete: Landscaping of the exterior of the buildingInterior maintenance needs from replacing lights to hanging electrical appliancesIn conjunction with the entire sports team working a designated night duty & rotating weekend duty:This will require you to have a valid driver's license and be able to drive the company vehicle through the DMVAttention to Detail: Extreme attention to detail must be given to all aspects of the business you interact with. This position requires you to approach duties and daily tasks with the mindset of an owner of the company and to consider things such as profitability, customer service, company goals, company mission, and values in all decision-making opportunities. Critical Decision-Making: The ability to determine when decisions should be made at your position's level or when additional coordination from above is needed is paramount. Decisions must be made at the lowest appropriate level to facilitate delegation and growth. The ability to make this judgment and to execute the correct and proper decisions based on previous experience and input, along with the company's mission and values, is a required skill for this position. Broader Position Duties:Contributes to the effective planning, promotion, implementation, supervision, and coordination of sports programs and company events;Contributes to effective social media and brand efforts both with and without specific instruction;Interacts professionally to build positive relationships with players, vendors, contractors, company partners, and United Fray staff as needed;Provides hands-on assistance to other team members with various specialized operational tasks;Protects the organization's value by keeping company information confidential;Correctly interprets and makes decisions in accordance with laws, regulations, and company policies;Performs other duties as petencies:Ability to manage multiple projects with fast deadlines across multiple brands;Understand the feedback process and be open to edits and changes as necessary;Knowledge of Fray values and how they drive the work we do.Requirements:Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends;College degree or commensurate 1-3+ years of work experience in related fields (HR, training, staff management, HubSpot);Clean driving record and ability to safely operate company vehicles; Ability to readily and repeatedly lift 35 lbs (with a smile);Previous experience playing or working with adult social sports;Comfortable in a highly fast-paced environment.
