With a primary focus on delivering a hospitable experience for guests and fostering a positive environment for staff, this role will oversee day-to-day operations, set-up, opening, and closing procedures.What You Will DoEnsure the brand and experience align with the concept visionSupervising and enhancing the customer experience at the bar, ensuring exceptional service deliveryEnsuring that set-up, opening, and closing procedures are followed to maintain operational excellenceProviding hands-on support to bartenders during peak hours, assisting with customer service and drink preparationSupervising staff on a day-to-day basis, monitoring performance, and handling any guest inquiries; escalating issues accordinglyHandling and supporting administrative duties such as ordering, scheduling, inventory management, waste control, payroll, and other related tasksConduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to managementEnsure cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including back of house areasAdhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policiesConsistently report to scheduled shifts on time and ready to work in proper uniformOperate ethically to protect the image of the companyPerforms other duties and responsibilities as required or requestedAbout You:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environmentMinimum 1 year of management or supervisory experienceExtensive knowledge of bar lifecycles and setup, spirits, cocktail ingredients, and garnishesFamiliarity with alcohol service and food safety standards, including DOH protocolsKnowledge of alcohol service and food safety standardsStrong communication and leadership skillsAbility to multitask and work effectively under pressureStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsHigh standards for cleanliness of workspace and service areasProfessional demeanor, polished appearance with the ability to exceed guest's expectationsAbility to work in an ever-changing environmentAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentStrong work ethic and customer-focused approachMust be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to successPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative andor quantitative productivity standardsAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standardsAbility to lift and carry items weighing 10 - 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on a regular (or occasional basis).Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the work area and property.
