IMC - X-Ray Tech

Responsibilities: -Conduct x-ray examinations in accordance with the highest standard of safety, courtesy, morality, and privacy. -Responsible for the care of the patient during the performance of the x-ray examination in accordance with medical staff instructions. -Render emergency assistance if needed. -Applying proper patient identification and labeling of images using indelible markers. -Acquires x-ray images as ordered and indicated on the Radiology Information System (RIS) or as on the printed control sheet. -Process high quality diagnostic images so Radiologist can use them to make clinical diagnosis for continuation of patient care. -Accurately enter patient identifying information into RISPACSModality. -Provide adequate radiation protection measures for patients. -Maintain imaging room in clean, neat condition. -Notify Supervisors and co-workers of equipment issues, maintenance needs that may contribute to reduction in safety of the patient or other hospital employees. -Perform other duties as required.
