The ideal candidate should be a proactive self-starter with an ability to solve tough or one-off issues.The Finance team comprises GL accounting, Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Internal Controls (SOX) and Tax over three countries.Scope of Responsibilities & Position ExpectationsPrimary responsibilities:•Perform the tasks required to achieve month end close by day 5;•Revenue segmental reporting analysis by product and region on a monthly basis;•Work with other departments and analyze provisions requiring level of judgement such as freight; SIP and E&O;•Review of supplier statements and ensure all significant accruals captured;•Revenue recognition analysis and monthly entries for revenue and COGS;•Margin analysis;•Review of actual v budget variances;•Oversee and co-ordinate subsidiary reporting, including loading of results into NetSuite;•Review of inventory, including rate review; GRNI and SIT accruals;Knowledge Skill Requirement•Requires a CACPA qualification (big 4 preferred)•8+ years mix of public & industry accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Multinational Company andor international experience a plus.•Must be hands-on•Accurate and detailed in work ethic•Excellent Microsoft Office skills (NetSuite a plus)•High attention to detail, works accurately and quickly and has good organizational skills•Management and interpersonal skills necessary to motivate and train others in performing key financial activities•Collaborative, results driven team player with the ability to influence others•Ability to set and meet deadlines including ability to manage multiple tasks to completion at the same time•Excellent English verbal and written communication skills$150,000 - $175,000 a yearWe offer a total compensation package that consists of competitive pay and other forms of compensation such as bonuses, wellness perks and stock, as well as benefit programs for employees (and their families).This position offers, employees (and their families) medical, dental, vision, long term care, disability, and basic life insurance. Additionally, employees may participate in other voluntary benefit options such as our flexible spending accounts, identity theft protection, critical illness and group accident coverage. Employees will also be eligible for paid parental leave, flexible paid time off and sick time throughout the calendar year. The Annual Salary Range for this position in the US, Illinois is $150,000-$175,000, which is dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
