Our people and programs deliver personalized, professional, evidence-based behavioral and developmental services to each participant, and peace of mind to caregivers that their loved ones are in the right hands.About the OpportunityThe Behavior Specialist works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs. The Behavior Specialist collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.Duties & ResponsibilitiesFollows the instructions of the BCBAprogram supervisorteacherProvides behavior assistanceinterventions to assigned clientsPerforms ABA related teaching strategiesProvides behavior support servicesProvides crisis interventionReview and Implement behavior intervention plansReview and implement behavioral goals found within IEPsDocuments session per policies and proceduresCollects data accurately and efficientlyStrictly adhere to confidentiality requirementsAssist students in the development of independent skills through self-care activities such as toileting, clothing routines and personal hygiene.Implement behavior management techniques in accordance with the directions given by the supervising teacher; including reinforcing appropriate behaviors in accordance with the teachers plan and supervising the student during these behavior management techniquesAdditional job duties as assignedBenefits & PerksStarting as a part-time opportunity, you will have an opportunity to grow your career in this purpose-filled industry where you can see results every day.
