Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the team at Legrand!GENERAL PURPOSEThis position is for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance and reporting team.This role is essential for supporting the monthly closing process, reporting, annual and quarterlyforecastingbudgeting, and providing ad hoc analysis as needed.DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESPrepare and review monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with LNCA policiesAssist in completing monthly LNCA and Group reporting to meet reporting deadlines via collaboration with the ControllingOps Finance groups and business teams as necessaryAnalyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures, providing insights and recommendationsAssist the finance team in the company-wide annual and quarterly planning processes. Collaborate with executives and the financial analysis team to ensure successful completion of planning activity.Maintain and improve supporting BPC, Excel and Planful planning models.Provide financial support to our European and Asia Pacific operations and assist the FP&A teams as needed to meet business unitcorporate objectives where specific expertise warrants collaboration.Provide business partnership and financial support to various teams on SG&A spend and budgetingConduct in-depth analysis of financial trends, metrics, and KPIsInitiate and assist with the creation, development, and implementation of processes and proceduresComplete process improvement projects in a collaborative, rigorous, thoughtful, and timely mannerUnderstand workplace hazards and take steps to proactively prevent and report hazards or injuries in the workplace. Cooperate in safety programs, initiatives, and investigations.Demonstrate our core values of Customers, People, Integrity, Teamwork, Continuous Learning & Improvement, and Empowerment & AccountabilityOther Ad Hoc requests from finance or other business partnersJOB REQUIREMENTSEssential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong technology skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications (especially Excel and Power Point) and ERP systems (especially BPC, Planful, SAP)Demonstrated financial analysis and modeling expertise.Possess strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to multi-task and manage several projects through completion at one time, while providing high attention to details and hitting deadlines.Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.Ability to operatework in an entrepreneurial environment.Motivated, self-starter who desires success.Demonstrated ability to be customer focused and responsive to questions and needs in a deadline driven environment.Ability to work in a team environment, and leverage additional resources as needed.Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload based upon organization or department needs.Detail-oriented and with excellent follow-through skillsExcellent project management, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage several projects at one time while providing high attention to details and excellent follow-through skillsMust possess high degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential informationMinimum Education and Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Applied Mathematics2-3+ years of related experience analyzing, modeling and forecasting financial data.Experience with ERPPlanning systems (preferred SAP, Planful & BPC experience)Special Job Requirements:Requires availability and communication during non-standard business hours to communicate with global team membersMust be available for extended, varied work hours based on business needPreferred Qualifications:MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) preferredWORKING CONDITIONSPHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard.General office environmentHybrid (blend of office and remote) environmentMay require regular ground travel to other company facilities within local metropolitan areaLong-distance or air travel as neededNote: Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Legrand is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
